The cruiser range in the motorcycle world is not just any bike that’s duty is only to get you from A to B. A cruiser is driven with love for the open road and it is for the type of people who enjoy the mere thrill of riding. These motorcycles are inspired from the 1930s to 1960s released American models like the Harley Davidson. What makes a cruiser different from the other category of bikes is the comfortable low seated riding position with the gears and brakes moved towards the front of the bike, enabling the rider to have an erect back which is very comfortable for the open roads. The newly released cruiser, the Suzuki Intruder, proves to be a perfect combination of modern styling features and performance.
The
Suzuki Intruder 150 was recently released in November as a low capacity cruiser
motorcycle. The intruder 150 is derived from the big daddy among the cruisers:
the Intruder M1800R. The first thing you notice when you lay your eyes on the
cruiser is the stylish, fluidic design of the body, which has all the elements
resembling the Intruder M1800R. The riding position is very comfortable just
like in any cruiser and the handle bars resemble the horns of a bull ready to
ravage the streets. The other elements of the bike, such as the frame, tyres and
engine are all made same as the all-famous Suzuki Gixxer. The peppy 155 cc
engine of the intruder manages to deliver quite a punch and the bike handles
the sharp curves with ease.
Both
the brakes are disc with the front one being a single channel ABS for better
control. The LED projected headlamps and the taillights give an edgy look. It
sports dual exhausts and chrome mirrors which would definitely turn some heads.
With a fuel tank capacity of 11 litres and efficiency of 44 kmpl, it is very
well suited for the open road adventurer in you without having the cautious
feel of having to top up fuel now and then. The price of Suzuki Intruder in
Kannur and Kasargod costs Rs. 1,05,391.
All
in all, the Suzuki Intruder 150 is above par for any low capacity rider and
it'll not only act as a weekend getaway motorcycle but also a handy companion
in the busy streets.
